About Haven Coping
Haven Coping, LLC is a private, community-based practice founded in Dallas, TX that provides child life specialist and end-of-life doula services.
Haven Coping was founded to address the immense need for psychosocial and emotional support of families in the community, and to close the gap in services between facilities and home.
We all have those moments that change everything.
The cancer diagnosis. The addiction. The chronic illness. The stillbirth. The unexpected accident. The divorce. When facing these difficult experiences, individuals often wonder,
"how am I going to tell my children?"
Haven is here to help.
About Hannah
Hannah founded Haven Coping, LLC after dreaming about
starting a private practice to serve patients and families in the greater community.
Hannah received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from
Vanderbilt University. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) and practiced at Parkland Health, Dallas's public county hospital, for 8 years.
Hannah worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and also supported children of terminally and seriously ill adults. Her experiences supporting families at end-of-life inspired her to become an End-of-Life Doula (EOLD) prior to starting Haven Coping.
Hannah is married, a mother to her 2 year old son, and a huge animal lover. She loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, sports, music, great food, and helping others.
